About Lisanne

Lisanne Messinger is a Topanga Canyon-based artist who began her artistic journey as a hair colorist at the renowned Jean Louis David in Bendel’s NYC Salon in 1977. Lisanne moved to Los Angeles where she continued her creative career at Jose Eber hair salon in Beverly Hills, CA. During her tenure as a colorist, Lisanne developed a flair for color and dimensionality. She parlayed this passion into a love of painting. Her canvases are active and bold with color and clever applications of pattern and texture.

Lisanne’s love for painting brings her immense joy and she strives to share her passion with the world. Her approach to her art is to invoke emotions through blending acrylic paints and mixed media. Lisanne is married with two adult children, and resides in Topanga, CA.
